Pope Francis continues to impress, and I'm not even Catholic. Apparently a priest in Italy was moved by the Pope's strong push to help the poor and offered his 30-year-old Renault 4 to the Vatican as a gift of appreciation. You can imagine his surprise when the Pope called him up to accept it, invited him down, and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

It really does warm my heart to see the head of the child molester protection agency in a small, old car.

As I said, I'm not Catholic, so not sure who your religion-bashing is directed towards. It's just a neat little story.

Well, I hope you're not the head of the child molester protection agency I was referring to.

El Papa Francisco is pretty much the Anti-Obama... Nobody expected much from him but he keeps positively surprising everybody by simply keeping true to but he always did.
This is a very small gestures, yes... But what about the open anti war campain?
BTW, for those into politics I recommend checking out Guardia de Hierro, which is the Peronist organization on which Bergoglio had active participation in his youth.
